Imports drawing lists from Excel or Google Sheets, compares them with the Revit project, generates required sheets, places matching views and updates drawing status.

Drawing List & Sheet Generator conceptual interface

Overview

Drawing List & Sheet Generator is a JTABIMTools Revit add-in for turning a structured drawing list into coordinated Revit sheets. It can read drawing-list data from Excel or Google Sheets, compare the list against the current Revit model, identify existing and new sheets, match views by sheet-number naming, and generate selected sheets using a chosen title block. The tool can place matching views automatically, apply auto or fixed view scales, arrange viewports within configurable sheet margins, track drawing progress and save status updates back to Google Sheets. The workflow is intended to reduce repetitive sheet setup while keeping the drawing register and Revit documentation aligned.
